Did Vietnamese steelmakers escape the EU's anti-dumping duties?

The facts once again show that not all of the ridiculous demands made by the European steel lobby group EUROFER can be implemented by the Commission.

According to recent media reports, Vietnamese hot-rolled coil, one of the main targets of EUROFER in the current anti-dumping investigation (Japan, Egypt, India, Vietnam), seems to have escaped the market protection frenzy of EU steel mills and the European Commission in at least one case, at least this is the consensus of several Vietnamese media.

Even in the preliminary results of the EU steel product safeguard review announced not long ago, many of EUROFER's obviously exaggerated demands did not work.
