Chadwicks of Bury will be showcasing its range of lidding solutions at the annual Packaging Innovations show at the NEC, Birmingham, 12-13 February 2025.

Innovative rPET Pre-Cut Lidding Film

One of Chadwicks' standout products is the rPET pre-cut lidding film, which contains up to 50% post-consumer resin (PCR). Fully approved for food contact, these lids are suitable for various food applications such as butter, dips, spreads, yogurts, beverages, and convenience foods. This advancement aligns with Chadwicks' commitment to reducing reliance on virgin plastics and embedding responsible practices within its operations.

The rPET lidding offers the same technical properties as virgin plastic, but with a lower carbon impact and a substantial use of recycled material, reflecting a significant step towards sustainability in packaging.

Chadwicks will also unveil its latest innovation, the resealable pre-cut lid, at Packaging Innovations. This product eliminates the need for plastic over-caps, thereby extending product freshness while reducing plastic usage.
